Hanahan, SC Real Estate Agents
A small city between the Air Base and the Weapons Station, with one of the shortest commutes in the region to either.
Living in Hanahan
Hanahan is a compact Berkeley County city tucked between North Charleston and Goose Creek along the Cooper River. It stays off most out-of-town buyers' radar, which is exactly why we bring it up. From most of Hanahan, the Air Base is 10 to 15 minutes and the Weapons Station not much more.
Tanner Plantation is the largest community, built from the late 1990s on, with pools, a lake and townhomes alongside single-family homes. Eagle Landing, Otranto, Dominion Hills and Berkeley Hills are older neighborhoods with bigger lots and mature trees. Yeamans Hall, a private club community on the river, is the exception to Hanahan's otherwise moderate pricing. Active listings start around $185,000 and most homes sit in the $300,000 to $500,000 range.
Inventory is smaller here than in North Charleston or Summerville, so timing matters. We watch new listings daily for clients who want Hanahan specifically.
